Her Bladed Arms

Updated: Mar 24, 2023

Katlynn walks into the kitchen. It is late, but not too late and the lights are still on. As she settles in, she notices a glass of milk on the dining room table. The deck door opens. She turns in surprise to Eric in his pajamas “Hey!” he reacts. She smiles and her personality pushes forward to investigate.

“Hey pal, what are you doing?”

“Nothing. Just had to run outside real quick.”

“Oh…”

“I was saving a bug...” He says with a small shameful smile.

“A bug?”

He scratches his head just behind the ear. “Yeah…”

She giggles. “What kind of trouble was this bug in?”

“This is dumb, you think it's dumb, I am just going to go to bed and… yeah.” Eric starts walking through the kitchen to the hall.

Katlynn Stands up in his path. “What kind of bug was it?”

With his head down like a disobedient child. Eric looks up at her “A Praying Mantis.”

Katlynn grows interested. “Cool.” She goes to the deck door, and looks out the window to try to see if she can catch a glimpse of this little wonder. Eric looks at her looking through the window, she is on her tippy toes trying to change the paradigm of her view of the deck. Her nightgown lifts up to the mid-part of her upper thigh. He just watches, as a smile finds his face. She turns around “I can’t see him”

Eric walks up next to her “How do you know it was a male?”

“Well, how do you know it was a praying mantis?”

“… It was green, it had those little blade arms, and (he makes a vague shape with his hands) he was about this big.”

“Males are almost always green, females are bigger and they don’t fly. So I probably would have been able to see him more easily if he was in fact a female.”

“Wow you know a lot about bugs… didn’t know that”

“Praying Mantis’ aren’t bugs, they’re insects. Yes, a bug is a type of insect but a mantis does not fall under the classification of a bug. Just an FYI.”

Eric turns his head while his eyes sit on Katlynn, he’s surprised and slightly estranged by her sudden fascination and uncommonly cold demeanor “Okay, point proved.” She looks at him for a second and smiles shyly.

“Go sit in that chair.” Eric listens and sits in the chair. He’s facing the dining room table when he hears a draw open and close. She walks up behind him “So first night sleeping over and you just make yourself at home huh?”

Eric looks at the glass of milk “Oh it was just hard for me to sleep, it seems like milk always helps. Sorry thought you wouldn’t mind.”

She laughs “it's okay but hands behind the chair…”

“Oh…” Eric put his hands behind the chair. Then the cold plastic of a zip tie clasps his hands to the back splat. “Oh am I about to be punished?” She tightens the tie and his hands lose mobility to the blood restriction “Oh wow! That kind of hurts haha” She doesn’t say anything and pulls the chair out from the table, and sits on his lap.

“why was it hard for you to sleep?… Is it because we didn’t have sex?” Eric’s eyes light up. She isn’t usually so upfront. They have reframed from talking about sex in their 2 months together.

“Aaaaa I mean I was hoping that we would of course, it is okay that we didn’t I get it. It’s no problem. Haha I mean it does help me sleep.” She starts to move her hips in a circular motion. Eric smiles it feels nice despite the discomfort of his restriction.

“Well, you seem to be getting excited…”

“Very… this feels nice.”

She begins to move faster and faster. He feels pressed against her. She loosens her robe and there is nothing underneath. “ I am definitely in the mood now” He just stares at her the whites in his eyes are more apparent than ever. She reaches into his pants grabbers him and thrusts him inside her. They both groan in the initial insertion. “How do you like that?” He just nods in approval as she starts to bounce more and more. She puts her arms around his head and the loose oversized sleeves of her robe dangle from her arms. He can’t move caught in the silence of his gasp.

“Wow oh wow” He feels her speeding up. “I’m gonna- Cu…” She thrust on top of him one more time, and she feels him finish as he Squirms in the chair and she stays seated on top of him. She kisses him lightly on the lips. He blinks and opens his eyes widely “That was amazing…”

She smiles “So you like praying Mantis’ hmm?”

“huh?” Suddenly Eric feels stuck in the chair paralyzed by the pressure he feels from her arms. He looks, through the thin silk sleeves of her gown several spikes are stuck into the skin of his collarbone. Her bladed arms hold him in his place. She immediately bites down on his nose, he can hear the crunch of the cartilage in his own head. “AHHH! YOU B-I” Her head comes down again, her meet on his enclosed lips and she bites right through the blood that combusts from the center of his face and splatters all over her dowsing her stoic face. Eric’s scream changes its sound to “WWRAHH” she presses her arms into him, furthering the spikes into his Clavicle and upper rib cage. Without missing a beat she bites him right on his Adam’s apple, her teeth carving right through his neck like melted wax.

The scream becomes the Gargling of his blood, he squirms again in the chair this time the whites of his eyes are much larger than before. He shakes trying to free himself but her legs trap him to the chair. She continues to bite at him faster and faster with each bite, the skeleton of his skull giving no resistance to the grasping of her teeth. She eats. She eats till all that’s left of his head is the first bone of his spine, sitting there like Atlas as if the world had fallen from his shoulders. She wipes her lips with the edge of her splinter sleeve and stands.

She takes a step to the table and picks up the glass of milk drinking it all in a few gulps. She places it back on the table with a mixture of blood and milk on the rim. There’s a tiny knock on the window facing the deck. She looks to see a praying mantis looking into her house it shifts from the left to the right of it’s stance. She smiles at him and turns around to go back to bed.
